Job Description: Mental Health Support Worker

Pay: £18.00 Standard Rate - £21.00 per hour Bank Holidays

Refer a Friend Scheme - £250 awarded (T&C's apply)

We are currently recruiting Full Time and Part time Support Workers to support an individual with Mental Health needs in the Weston-Super-Mare area.

The Role

We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Autism Support Workers to work with an individual who has a learning disability, autism and mental health support needs. The individual will be living on their own so we are looking for Autism Support Workers who can provide 360 wrap around support that covers all aspects of their life. The individual will be living on her own so we are looking for Support Workers who can provide 24-hour support throughout her day.

To be part of her team she is looking for the following in a team member:

• Good cook
• Help me to keep my home clean and tidy
• Like or be happy to massage

• Rides – so you can join her, especially the waltzers
• Listening to jokes
• Singing and dancing
• Picking nice outfits to wear – pampering
• Playing board games (uno snakes and ladders)
• Having pampers – hair, make up, spa day, foot spa, nails painted
• Trampoline, bowling, cooking, baking, cloth shopping
• Playing snakes and ladders and Uno

Schedule:

• 12 hour shifts – 08:00 to 20:00 / 20:00 to 08:00
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Overtime

Licence/Certification:

• Autism (preferred)
• Driving Licence (MUST)

*Refer a friend bonus is payable at

· £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift.

· £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period.
